We were tired of dealerships.
GermanConnect was born from a simple belief: an enthusiast who knows what they're doing shouldn't have to pay €150 in labor to read an error code.
The turning point
It all started with a situation we've all experienced. Warning light on the dashboard, appointment at the dealership, two hours of waiting, and a €120 diagnostic bill to learn that an O2 sensor is faulty. A €40 part, accessible to anyone.
The problem isn't the mechanics. It's access to information. And the right diagnostic cable is the key to that access.
" The right cable is the difference between enduring your car and understanding it."
The problem we wanted to solve
Diagnostic tools have been around for a long time. But finding the right cable for your car is an uphill battle. Forums are full of bad information, generalist sellers have no expertise, and references are scattered all over the web.
We wanted to create a place where the answer is clear: this car, this cable, this software. Without ambiguity.
covered
referenced
What we built
A catalog organized by make and model, with a configurator that answers one question: which cable for my car?
Each reference is verified: supported protocols, compatible software, covered vehicle generations. We do not put a reference online if we are not certain that it works.
