HDS
Purpose: HDS (Honda Diagnostic System) is the official Honda manufacturer software used for diagnosis and certain programming operations.
Applications: fault code reading and clearing, real-time data, calibrations, electronic maintenance, and workshop procedures.
Compatible interface: HIM Honda or MVCI compatible.
i-HDS
Purpose: i-HDS is the newer platform designed for modern Honda vehicles.
Applications: advanced diagnostics, software updates, module programming, and modern manufacturer functions.
Compatible interface: Mainly J2534 compatible.
