Passive adapter for connecting older Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with the proprietary 38-pin diagnostic connector (OBD-I) to a standard 16-pin OBD-II tool.
This proprietary 38-pin connector is found on certain Mercedes models from the 90s before the adoption of the standard OBD-II. It is distinct from the 38-pin connector on the MB Star multiplexer side.
Passive adapter. Does not work alone, requires an OBD-II interface or a PC-side MB Star multiplexer, sold separately.
