The VAS 5054A is the official diagnostic interface of the Volkswagen group, used by the dealer network until around 2015. It offers native access to proprietary VAG protocols for manufacturer-level diagnostics. For post-2015 VAG vehicles, prefer the VAS 6154 DoIP interface.
